Here is a very basic list of great apps and tools to help you when starting out in your Virtual Assistant business:

CANVA

  • Great for creating content for your socials

  • Design your logo

  • Design your Professional Profile

  • Create workbooks

  • Plus so much more.

TOGGL TRACK

  • Easily track your time

  • Generate easy to read PDF reports/timesheets to send to your Clients with your invoice.

ASANA - FREE

  • Asana is a jobs boards and communications program that can be used for managing tasks within a team. Simply log into Asana, set up the project (or add to an existing one), add the jobs and tasks and assign it to the relevant person.

  • With Asana, you can chat within tasks and upload graphics and files as well. This does away with emailing back and forth. Sending the message from the program means the history is maintained if you need to backtrack on anything.

HELLOSIGN

  • Send Client Contracts for electronic signing

  • Keep track of where the signature process is up to for each document.

ZOOM

  • Video calls and meetings online

  • Allows you to have an authentic face to face connection

  • Able to build rapport during new client discovery calls.

FONTSPACE - FREE

  • Great place to find new and creative free fonts.

  • You can type your text in the text box and see how what you typed looks like in the font examples on your screen

  • This helps you make a decision much quicker, rather than downloading a heap of fonts, only to find that they are not what you are looking for.

UNSPLASH

  • A great site for stock photos

  • Currently, you can download a great selection for free for both business and personal use.

  • Photo quality is fantastic.

STRIPE

  • Allows clients to make payments via credit card or debit card, or payment plans you create

  • Fees are on par with Paypal

CALENDLY

  • Allows clients or potential clients to book calls with you via a link

  • The link displays pre-set dates and times that you are available to chat.

There are so many more applications and tools out there, but these are just some basic handy ones for when you first start your VA business. As you go along, I am sure you will find other tools that will work for you, your clients and your business.
